Pastor
Rev. Rick Maddox has been the pastor of Galion Alliance Church since 1995. Prior to coming to Galion, he served as the pastor of Alliance churches in Oak Harbor, Ohio, and Frankfort, Kentucky.
Pastor Maddox earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (summa cum laude) in Biblical and Theological Studies from Gordon College in Massachusetts. He completed his Master of Divinity degree (cum laude) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois.
In addition to his ministries at the church, Pastor Maddox serves on the district Licence, Ordination and Consecration Council and the Church Planting Committee, and as a part of those committees, he mentors church planters and young men working toward ordination. He is also very involved in the Galion community, currently serving as the Vice President of the Galion Area Ministerial Association and as a steering committee member for People of Prayer for Galion. He also serves on the Main Street Design Review Board for the City of Galion.
Pastor Maddox has been married to his wife, Sandy, since 1980. They have five children, three of whom are still living at home.
