Pastor
Rev. Rick Maddox has been the pastor of Galion Alliance Church since 1995. Prior to coming to Galion, he served as the pastor of Alliance churches in Oak Harbor, Ohio, and Frankfort, Kentucky.
Pastor Maddox earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (summa cum laude) in Biblical and Theological Studies from Gordon College in Massachusetts. He completed his Master of Divinity degree (cum laude) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois.
In addition to his ministries at the church, Pastor Maddox serves as the Corporate Secretary for the Ohio Valley District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He is also a member of the District Executive Committee; the License, Ordination and Consecration Council; and the Church Planting Committee. As a part of these committees, Pastor Maddox mentors church planters and young men working toward ordination. He is also very involved in the Galion community, currently active in the Galion Area Ministerial Association, the steering committee for the People of Prayer for Galion, the Trauma Debriefing Team for all the schools in Crawford County, and the Historic Main Street Design Review Board.
Pastor Maddox has been married to his wife, Sandy, since 1980. They have five children, two of whom are still living at home.
